Our greatest desire at CBC is to love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ. We want to extend the kindness of Jesus to our neighbors, meeting them right where they are and inviting them into a relationship with us and with our Savior. Though it can be intimidating to talk to people you don’t know, we invite you to say yes to how God might want to use you in the life of a person He created and deeply loves. We keep things casual through grilling hot dogs, handing out water bottles and chips, making conversation with people who want to enjoy a free meal or snack, and being a light for Jesus in whatever way the Holy Spirit moves us to! Even if you’ve never done anything like this, we’d love to have you. There is no pressure to be perfect, just to be a warm, friendly presence. You can help us serve food and watch/learn from others! You might be surprised at the connections you make with our neighbors - you may even get a chance to step out in boldness and share the best news in the world: the Gospel of Jesus.
