CBC Students - save the date! Our annual Lake Day is Saturday, 8/23, from 2-8pm! We’ll meet at Twin Coves Park on Grapevine Lake, and will have boating, swimming, and other group activities. Bring a swimsuit, towel, life jacket (if you have one), and a change of clothes. Cost is $20. Register below, and be sure to invite your friends!

This month, we're doing something special for Men's Breakfast! While we usually meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month, we took the 21st off to provide a well-deserved rest day for our VBS volunteers. That means our monthly gathering will be on the 28th, and for the first time ever, ladies and students are invited! Our speaker will be Dave Vallier, and he's going to present his Dallas Seminary thesis topic, "The Rise and Fall of Babylon in the Last Days." Please join us for this important topic and great conversation! Breakfast is provided. 

God has provided faithfully for the Moldova mission team over the last several months, and we are down to our final fundraiser before the trip! Join us in the Fellowship Hall after church on Sunday, June 8th, for a bake sale. There will be sweets of all kinds, as well as lunch items and savory snacks. Cash, credit, Venmo, CashApp, etc are accepted. All proceeds go directly to the Moldova team! Thank you for being part of this trip through your prayers and financial support!

All are invited to our spring picnic at Fritz Park! On Sunday, May 18, grab a lunch after church and meet us at 825 W. Irving Blvd. We’ll have picnic tables to eat at, or you can bring a blanket if you’d prefer. There will be games like croquet, bocce ball, spike ball, etc, and there’s a playground for the kids! Paster Steve always brings his boomerangs and will teach anyone who wants to learn how to throw one. Come enjoy a leisurely afternoon with our church family!

Ladies, join us for a painting party with our very own Amy Graves! Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before or paint all the time, this event is for you. Amy will teach basic painting skills, and you’ll be able to create your own piece of art to take home! The goal is to relax, encourage one another, and worship to our creative God as we paint. Our Moldova Mission Trip team is having a bake sale Sunday, March 2, right after church! They are excited to get to share the love of Jesus this summer in partnership with our missionary families, the Gavrils and Cozimas. We greatly appreciate your support!

How can trials strengthen our faith? How can we live for Christ in the midst of life’s difficulties? The book of James is filled with wisdom and practical instruction on living the Christian life. Our study will walk us through what a mature faith looks like with teaching, admonition, and encouragement. Join us as we learn God's principles for navigating trials, temptations, the tongue, and the pull of the world. We will meet in the youth room on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 pm starting February 19th. Books are $22, and scholarships are available! Please contact Karen Boozer for more information.

We believe the love God has for us satisfies our hearts and enables us to love others freely and joyfully. Join us on February 16th for a special dinner in celebration of that amazing love!
