We would love to welcome you and your family to Community Bible Church this Easter! The Easter season is an important, powerful time for the Church all over the world to come together and give thanks for what Jesus has done for us. We encourage everyone to invite friends and family as we lift high the name of Jesus. Kids will join in the worship service with their families to sing to our awesome God, then will head to Kids Church during the message for a special celebration of their own! We can’t celebrate to celebrate together. He is risen, indeed!

This Good Friday, we invite you to Journey of Faith, a powerful evening of prayer and worship. Our entire building will be transformed from 6-8pm into themed rooms for personal prayer and reflection, followed by a time of worshipping together in praise of all Jesus has done for us through his death on the cross for our sins.

Throughout every generation, music has been a powerful way to orient our hearts to the Lord, remember the truth of His character, and be filled with His hope, joy, and peace. This March, as we give thanks to God for 40 wonderful years of Community Bible Church, we will be celebrating the music of our heritage by bringing back some of the most beloved worship songs of the last four decades. We hope you can join us!

Join us Saturday, March 28th, for a community cookout at Victoria Park from 4:30-6:30pm. Easter is coming up, which reminds us more than ever of the greatest gift we’ve ever been given. We want to share that gift with others! This cookout is a great opportunity to meet our neighbors and invite them to our Easter service. We’ll keep things casual through grilling hot dogs, handing out water bottles and chips, making conversation with people who want to enjoy a free meal or snack, and being a light for Jesus in whatever way the Holy Spirit moves us to! Even if you’ve never done anything like this, we’d love to have you. There is no pressure to be perfect, just to be a warm, friendly presence. You can help us serve food and watch/learn from others! You might be surprised at the connections you make with our neighbors - you may even get a chance to step out in boldness and share the best news in the world: the Gospel of Jesus. We surround this time with prayer, show up in faith, and leave the results to God. Please join us! Hot dogs are provided; please bring snacks/desserts if you’re able!

Ladies, join us for a spring Bible study at the home of Margaret Watrous. We’ll be studying the book Colossians: Finding Stability in a Changing World, and will meet every Wednesday (with a break on April 15th for the women’s retreat) from 3/25 - 6/3. Contact Margaret below for the address!

The kids in AWANA have been working hard on their cars and are ready to race them at the annual Grand Prix! This event is open to the whole church family - come cheer our kids on as they have a fun day of racing with their AWANA friends and leaders! Learn more about our AWANA program here!

Community Bible Church’s 40th anniversary celebration is on March 7th! We are thankful to God for the gift of being a church family for these past 40 years - He has been so faithful, and this celebration is our opportunity to praise Him for all He has done. As we look back at 40 years of God carrying us through the joys and trials that come with living life together on mission for His Kingdom, we also look forward in prayer to what He will do in the future. “For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.” - Romans 11:36

As we prepare for the 40th anniversary celebration, we are excited to complete a few projects around the building. Please join us for a work day on Saturday, February 28th, immediately after Men’s Breakfast. If you can’t be there the whole day, that’s totally fine! Come for what you can!
